Between September and October, “the city of Trepponti” will celebrate this fish in a historic food festival, alternating tastings, tours, as well as eel fishing and preparation demonstrations.

Tastings of tasty eel-based recipes will be available at the gastronomic stand organized at Palazzo Bellini, closed to the Trepponti bridge; possibility of little trips around the Historic Centre of Comacchio on board of typical lagoon boats.
At local restaurants, it will be also possible to try some traditional dishes, mostly eel-based. In the city centre, an expo route will be organized: there, it will be possible to find local and craft products, farm products, and artworks, as well as markets and a special area for children.

The event has gained a regional award, being a part of  “Wine Food Festival”
