Food and wine event along the new river dock of Ferrara, after a few editions in Piazza Ariostea. 15 Tasting areas of local restaurants that present their menus to visitors
Now in its tenth edition, this event offers the flavors of the Ferrara food and wine culture: pumpkin cappellacci, Ferrara couple, salamina da sugo, pie, gingerbread. Mangiafexpo, the great food festival in Ferrara, this year with about 15 tasting areas and the participation of the best local restaurants as well as an area dedicated to the creations of local artistic craftsmanship.
A tasty ‘food tasting area’ in the heart of the city, to try the most appreciated excellence of the local cuisine, including music, events, guided tours, meetings with the chefs. From evening to 2 am, there will be tastings of quality, creativity and promotion of the product of the territory and beyond.
The event is back from the success of last year that recorded the record attendance of 75 thousand visitors.
There are already numerous restaurants, taverns, wineries, bars and specialized companies in the gastronomy sector that have joined the festival with their own stand. On the site of the event the menus offered by the various operators present are described in a timely manner but surely the passers-by will also be attracted by the tasting menu, to allow gourmets to be able to taste more in more restaurants.
