PERFUMES AND ESSENCES OF THE ESTE'S TOWN

Exhibition market of rare plants and garden tools.

Not far from the Este Castle, in the very heart of Ferrara, UNESCO World Heritage Site, flowers and their colors and perfumes will be celebrated at PIAZZA ARIOSTEA. Two days dedicated to green culture, botanical collections, garden ecology, at the Este Castle and its surroundings. Ferrara will welcome a great and beautiful garden, with rare and delicate plants.

Plant nurseries will be in the spotlight of this exhibition, and around the castle it will be possible to find flower plants, exotic and aromatic plants and rare flowers, as well as garden accessories and tools, gardener’s clothes, garden-based books.

Many events will be organized: from guided tours around the places of the “Garden of the Finzi-Continis”, to theatre performances, an art exhibition, conferences, animation for children.

Giardini Estensi is based on an idea by “Associazione culturale Ferrara pro Art”, and it is organized by “Pro Loco Ferrara”, in collaboration with Comune di Ferrara and Provincia di Ferrara.
