Golden Cat Show: International Cat Show in Ferrara

On Saturday, January 10th and Sunday, January 11th, 2026, the city of Ferrara hosts the Golden Cat Show, a feline fair that brings together breeders, enthusiasts, and the curious from across Europe. The event takes place at the Ferrara Fairgrounds and offers a rich program spread throughout the day, with events designed to showcase the beauty, characteristics, and diversity of the breeds on display.

During the morning, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, the public will be able to watch the technical evaluations conducted by qualified judges, who will select the best specimens based on official standards. The selected cats will advance to the next stages of the competition, where they will be featured on stage in the afternoon.

In the early afternoon, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the Fun Class Competition will take place, a more informal section dedicated to the peculiarities of the different breeds, designed to highlight the curious and distinctive aspects of the cats on display. Following this, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the most anticipated moment of the event will take place: Best in Show, with the announcement of the best kittens, adults, and neutered cats, as well as a special competition for house cats.

For the entire duration of the Golden Cat Show, the exhibition area will host numerous stands dedicated to the pet sector, offering accessories, gift ideas, and products designed for the well-being of cats. There will also be information areas where you can receive helpful tips on proper nutrition and daily pet care.
