A weekend immersed in the greenery of Golena Park in Rocca di Stellata, surrounded by torches, artisans, historical re-enactment groups, music and delicious food.
In the warm days of July, spend marvellous evenings immersed in greenery, transported to a far-away time, in which man discovered the strength of iron and the Bondeno region, an area that came to be known by the Lingone Celtic population as Bundan (the basin) due to the unique make-up of the land.
Historical re-enactment groups from numerous Northern Italian districts will offer a glimpse into Celtic life amongst the huts and Menhirs of a marvellous Celtic village, wearing costumes and jewellery, brandishing hatchets and swords, sporting painted faces and hairstyles made famous by Greek and Roman literature. A group of experienced artisans will demonstrate the ancient trades of the historic region of the village.
Every evening will begin with the ritual lighting of a large fire accompanied by the sound of tambourines and bagpipes, which can be followed by a trip to the banquet restaurant, feasting on traditional foods from the Emilia Romagna region, passing between the numerous stalls of passionate artisans, participating in traditional games, telling fascinating tales to youngsters, getting involved in interesting conferences, and emerging yourself in enthralling Celtic melodies.
